ALVA Airport Hotel & Parking Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026 · Last updated September 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ALVA HOSPITALITY & ENTERTAINMENT, LLC ("ALVA," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you use the ALVA Airport Hotel & Parking marketplace ("Service") at alvashuttle.com/parksleep.
1. Information We Collect
Contact and Guest Information
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, number of guests, special requests, and other details you provide during checkout.
Data minimization: The current ALVA booking flow does not request flight numbers, flight schedules, vehicle make/model, or license-plate information. If a participating hotel needs those details for shuttle or parking operations, the hotel may request them directly from the guest under the hotel's own practices.
Reservation Information
We collect booking details such as the selected hotel, room type, package, hotel stay dates, parking dates, included and additional parking, price information, booking status, confirmation number, and reservation history.
Payment and Transaction Information
The Service may collect payment status, processor transaction identifiers, amount, processor name, timestamps, and related transaction records for the separate ALVA booking fee.
Payment-card details are entered through hosted third-party payment processors. ALVA does not intentionally store the full payment-card number or card security code.
Technical and Security Information
Our systems and hosting providers may process IP address, browser information, request logs, timestamps, security events, session identifiers, and similar technical information needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and protect the Service.
2. Sources of Information
We receive information directly from you when you search, complete checkout, submit reservation details, or contact us. We may also receive reservation-status or operational information from participating hotels, payment-status information from payment processors, and technical information automatically from our hosting and security systems.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- search hotel and parking package availability;
- create temporary inventory holds and reservations;
- process and verify the ALVA booking fee;
- send booking confirmations and transactional service communications;
- provide participating hotels with information needed to fulfill reservations;
- provide the participating hotel with the reservation details needed to fulfill the booked hotel and parking package;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and payment disputes;
- maintain accounting, audit, security, and transaction records;
- troubleshoot and improve operation of the Service; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Information Shared With Participating Hotels
When you make a reservation, ALVA may provide the participating hotel with information reasonably necessary to fulfill the booking. This can include guest contact information, stay and parking dates, package and room information, guest count, special requests, and reservation pricing or status.
Participating hotels are independent businesses and may have their own privacy practices for information they receive and process in connection with your stay, parking, or transportation service.
5. Payment Processors
The Service may use hosted payment processors such as Stripe or Square to process the separate ALVA booking fee. Payment information submitted on their hosted services is handled according to the processor's own privacy and security practices. ALVA receives transaction and status information needed to verify payment and complete the reservation.
6. Other Service Providers and Recipients
ALVA may use service providers for website hosting, database operation, email delivery, security, payment processing, and other functions necessary to operate the Service. These providers may process information on our behalf for the services they provide.
ALVA may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or lawful government requests; protect users or the Service; investigate fraud or security incidents; enforce agreements; or protect legal rights.
If all or part of the Service is reorganized, transferred, financed, merged, acquired, or sold, information associated with the Service may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
7. Cookies and Session Technology
The Service uses cookies or similar session technology where needed to keep authorized users signed in, preserve temporary booking state, protect forms, maintain secure sessions, and support normal website operation.
At this time, ALVA does not use the Service reservation data for third-party targeted advertising, and the Service is not designed around advertising cookies. If non-essential tracking or advertising technology is introduced in the future, this policy and any required consent mechanism should be updated before that technology is deployed.
8. Sale and Targeted Advertising
ALVA does not sell guest personal information collected through the Service for money. ALVA also does not intentionally share reservation information collected through the Service for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Special Requests and Sensitive Information
The Service includes a Special Requests field so guests can communicate practical reservation needs. Please do not enter payment-card numbers, passwords, medical diagnoses, medical history, or other highly sensitive information in that field.
If you need an accessibility accommodation, describe the accommodation or service needed without providing a diagnosis or medical history. ALVA does not request medical diagnoses or medical history to complete a standard hotel and parking reservation.
10. Data Retention
Reservation records: Full reservation information is generally retained for 13 months after the reservation is completed or cancelled. For a completed hotel-and-parking package, the retention period is measured from the end of the booked service period. During this period, the information may be used for reservation support, dispute handling, fraud prevention, operational review, and statistical analysis.
After 13 months: ALVA's retention process removes the guest's personal and operational reservation information from the active reservation database, including guest contact information, special requests, reservation communications, and other reservation-linked operational records. The current ALVA booking flow does not collect flight-number or vehicle/license-plate information.
Financial audit records: After the full reservation record is removed, ALVA may retain a limited, non-guest-facing financial audit record relating to the ALVA booking fee for up to five years from the transaction date. That audit record is limited to information reasonably needed for tax, accounting, payment reconciliation, refunds, audits, and legal compliance, such as the transaction date, booking reference, ALVA booking-fee amount, processor name and transaction reference, payment status, refund amounts, currency, and related accounting identifiers.
ALVA does not retain the guest's name, email address, telephone number, Special Requests, or other guest-profile information in the five-year financial audit record.
Payment processors: Stripe, Square, or another payment processor may retain transaction information under its own legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and retention requirements. Those processor-controlled retention periods are governed by the processor's policies and are separate from ALVA's reservation-database retention schedule.
Exceptions: ALVA may retain particular information longer when reasonably necessary for an active dispute, chargeback, fraud or security investigation, tax examination, litigation hold, court order, or other legal obligation. When that need ends, the normal retention schedule resumes.
11. Security
ALVA uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect Service information, including authenticated accounts for administrative functions, restricted access to internal files, secure-session controls, password hashing, and hosted payment processing.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should not send payment-card credentials, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email, support messages, or Special Requests.
12. Security Incidents
If ALVA discovers a security incident involving personal information, ALVA will investigate the incident and provide notices to affected individuals, regulators, or other parties when required by applicable law.
13. Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other information about personal data associated with you. ALVA may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
Privacy requests may be submitted through the contact options available at alvashuttle.com. Please identify the request as relating to ALVA Airport Hotel & Parking.
14. Children
The Service is intended for adults arranging hotel, parking, and travel services. It is not directed to children for independent use. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult should provide information for minors included in a reservation.
15. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to or interact with participating hotels, payment processors, or other third-party services. Their privacy policies apply to information processed independently by those services.
16. State-Specific Privacy Rights
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. If a state privacy law applies to ALVA or to a particular request, ALVA will respond in accordance with that law. As the Service expands into additional states or adds new data practices, ALVA may provide supplemental state-specific notices where appropriate.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
ALVA may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. The effective date shown at the top identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Contact
Questions or privacy requests concerning the Service may be submitted through the contact options available at alvashuttle.com.
